neverland

while j and i were watching finding neverland last night, it got me musing about the whole notion of growing up. yeah, deep, i know. (must have been the kirin on an empty stomach.) does growing up mean you have to stop playing? i am lucky to know a band of girls who think not. aged 24.9 (i'll be hitting the big quarter century mark in just a few days) to 32, we all hold "grown-up" jobs in high-tech, pay our own bills, and even discuss some politics now and then (one of these is a lie), but more importantly, we seem to share the same philosophy on life: hedonism. as merriam-webster explains, it's the doctrine that pleasure or happiness is the sole or chief good in life. as such, if you happen to read something that sounds remotely educational on this blog, do please bring this error to my attention immediately! gosh darn it, i just needed a place for all these silly drunken pix i can't help snapping.
